“THOUGHTS ON RELIGION” has become one of the famous topics for essays, media as well as rumors.

“RELIGION” is the tool that people use to understand and to tighten the closeness that they have towards the unknowable presence - “GOD”.There have been many inspiring quotations and sayings of great people, who where thought to be the corner stones of “RELIGION”.

The founder of Buddhism, Lord Buda gave a famous quote:

“All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him and one who does with a pure heart, happiness follow him.” You may think what is the relation between this saying and religion? Yes there is.

Now a days , people have a belief that , if they do a lot of Poojas , fastings , and other spiritual act , they reach Swarg. But that is not true, Its only the pure heart without any greed , that attains the true Love of God.

There is a famous saying of Dalai Lama:-

“A simple religion does not need a temple or any complicated Philosophy. It is only the own brain & heart which is the temple and kindness, the philosophy.”

This is indeed true and perfectly suits the religious people of the present era.

When Gandhiji was considered as paterfamilias of the students in the Tolstoy farm, he considered religious training as the heart of character building. He wanted every child to be aware of his or her religious scripts, culture and the beliefs that prevailed. This was because Gandhiji strongly believed that if a person knew about his religion, he would learn other things by his own.

A famous poem named “The Plate of Gold” written by Leigh Hunt has to be given importance in this article.

The Plate of Gold was found on the Banks of the great Benaras Temple yard, which was handed over to the temple authorities. The priest announced that this Plate of Gold would be given to person who has genuine Love for mankind. So , many Hermits, Scholars, Munshis, Rishis gathered around the temple for claiming the Plate of Gold by saying the good deeds done by them. Finally one person was selected who had given away his twenty acres of land to poor people as a charity. When the Plate of Gold was given to him it turned to basest lead. This meant that he did not deserve the Plate of Gold. Many people acted as if they had a noble heart by feeding the beggars who lay outside the temple. They gave them money, food and other things just to show off to the outside world. Three months went and the priest was not able to select one. Finally a simple peasant who was not aware of the gift, took the beggars hand and whispered, “Be brave, God is there”This was noticed by the priest and the Gold was given to him. When it was given it shone thrice its lustier.

So, true love towards God does not need any sacrifice, or publicity. It is the sincerity and belief that every person has on his or her religion. Every religion is the same. Religion are to be given equal importance, respect and dignity. God cannot be represented by any idols, faces or photos. It is the divine power that rules you, me and every body in the world who believe :“God is there.”

The Truth About Lies

Is there truth in Lies???..

Lie, as one sees it in the society is a 'SIN','A BAD HABIT','ANTI GOD'.Yes, lies are indeed bad and I am sure that you all would have heard about the positive lies which are useful for others in one way or the other.There are also harmless lies which are also lies but they don't have any drastic effect on anybody.Now as we know about all these lies, why are lies so imminet in this society even after all these thoughts about lies say that they are bad??First of all what and why a lie? A lie is a escape sequence that people create when the truth is not as tasty as the lie either for the concerned party or the counterparty way, what happens is that the truth gets hidden.But no harm intended and no harm caused.Truth can be sometimes bitter so we use lies to consume it.

A lie can be SELF oriented also.Self oriented lies are called motivators.When you say "I CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS' its a lie you say to yourself but see the value or the power of that lie.It can do wonders for you.So is it that lies are more powerful than the truth itself? NO and YES.No because a lie can also fail.Yes because, a lie can do wonders.It is not that you have to lie all the time.Keep truth as the default and lie as an exception but raise the Exception more often than not.Remember, telling a TRUTH is easy (there are exceptions) but its very very difficult to LIVE WITH A LIE.You have to know all the situations wherein the topic of your exception can arise so that you can be prepared for that.But truth demands courage at that time and you need not worry about the same afterwards.So which is more challenging???? The LIE of course but it should be of the harmless for anyone kind.

Lie can be a hobby, a game or even a challange if you take it in a positive way.Its all about the mind.When you are determined that you are going to lie, there are two things that one has to make sure one is that it doesn't harm anybody including himself and his dignity.The second one is that ones mind should be sharp.There are people who can bring out any lie but once mastered one can be unstoppable.Wit, is most important when you lie.Also truth can come in handy.When you deliver a lie, mixing some percentage of truth in it will make the combination simply irresistable to most people.The speciality is that the lie becomes more believable and authentic.When covering lies, usually one has to use a lie.But the best thing would be to use truth as an ultimate cover as most people like to see the cover rather than whats inside.

Finding a lie is pretty easy.The liar wont look at you when he delivers a lie or any aftermath of the lie either.But this is limited to an amateur liar.If he goes past this stage because of the counterparty's inability to detect, its very difficult to identify.But still you can be alert.A liar always has to think in the background when the topic of concern comes into the conversation. If you are really concerned about the authenticity of any matter, bring about that topic more than once and carefully observe the suspect he will be restless or too keen to answer.Finding a lie also needs a lot of practice and courage.

G O D Vs M A N

Why have i taken this topic? The very concept of God has a lot of prespecvtives im just adding one more.

God. I see God , when i see the tiniest of the insects and the largest of the mammals.Not concerning thier sizes,but with thier internal architecture.Thier Bones, to shape up the body, Eyes - Wonders of a human body., Heart, that speaks volumes on extreme engineering, The arteries, the ventricles, the skin, etc. etc. OK are these with a mammal as huge as a whale.But with an insect, the size of an ant? Same working.That s where i see GOD.

What do you see if some one says LIFE??Whats LIFE?? what do you as being ALIVE?? Plants are alive but they look dead.Life, as a form , We know is Something that Reacts .What does it react to? The environmental instability,Disturbance, etc. etc.When we have to define Life, we cannot do it without GOD coming into the picture.So, does that mean GOD is evrywhere??

Now, lets get into the real thing.What happens to the sand when it is disturbed by the wind storms in the desert??it forms waves in itself or the storm creats those waves but ultimately what happens? it makes sure that only a little amount of sand is moved away. Same is the phenomenon in the case of MAN .Evolution ie, adapting to the situation .There are loads of books in this topic;lets not get any deeper.

MAN created GOD.How many of us will accept this EXPLICIT TRUTH??Its the truth afterall.because we are the ones who have given GOD an Identity. isn't it true? We are the ones who have given Him Name, Form and divinity. Whys GOD in Human Form??Humans want to identify themselves with GOD and its not the other way around.Man has always given form to his worst fears and worshipped them.That explains how Serpants, Lions, Fire etc. became things of worship.The mighty Sun is no exception.

Now man has srarted creating things.He makes things that he thinks God has done.So, When this is the case,we have GOD being Imitated. in other words, Man wants to PLAY GOD.Ok when man wants to Play God, why does he worship Him??Its simple Man is afraid of God.Its just a cultivated thinkinig , and that can be overcome.Mans intentions of Playing God are explained clearly by his thirst for cracking the genetic code.Now we already have cracked the genetic code and we can have a Custom - Designed baby. Not only that , the lifetime of humans can be improved to quite double its own.It is not beyond man's reach .We are already fixing the errors of God's creations thro surgeries, medicines etc.Putting a wing to a human body and allowing him to fly is not totally impossibe.Advances in research speak for themselves.

What do you think is the need for making biped ROBOTS? while thier 4 legged counterparts are more stable and efficient??Its only to show that Humans can create some thing more HUMAN, more ENDURABLE, more BRILLIANT, more EFFICIENT than themselves. Had GOD made the same with humans?? It shows man's identification with God Himself.This is one extreme step where HUMANS are really PLAYING GOD.
